Aloft Hotels x Fast Company: FCLA

Aloft gets you where you want to go, faster.

Aloft is the hotel destination for the next generation traveler — a believer that travel creates possibilities and style is necessary. Fast Company is the go-to resource for the next generation business leader— inspiring possibilities and enforcing that good design design drives business forward.

Enter FCLA. Fast Company’s Creativity Counter Conference. 2 days. 8 neighborhoods. Unlimited opportunities for meaningful connections.

Celebrating and centered around creativity and Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business platform, this unexpected gathering takes over L.A.’s bustling hubs of technology, social entrepreneurship, big data, healthcare, fashion and, of course, entertainment. Fast Tracks are neighborhood-based on-site experiences where attendees go behind-the-scenes of some of the city’s most creative and compelling companies—with special guests and access.

Aloft and Fast Company will invite FCLA attendees to Aloft El Segundo for an immersive experience led with engaging live content and interactive activations with our panel: DIFFERENT BY DESIGN: HOW ALOFT DRIVES INNOVATION FOR GUESTS.

Aloft Hotels has been an innovative brand since its inception in 2008. From design to programming to food and beverage, the brand has revolutionized the way the staid hospitality landscape approaches the guest experience. Keyless check-in? They were first. Robotic butler? Check. Global music programming? (Mic) Check. And with more than 115 hotels around the world, there are no signs of slowing down. At this session inside Aloft’s El Segundo location, you’ll experience a conversation with Aloft, one of their innovation partners, and Co.Design editor Suzanne LaBarre on how these innovations come to life from concept to rollout within a global hospitality landscape as well as the future of creativity and technology for the brands. Then we’ll share an outdoor musical performance and some of Aloft’s tech innovations.

Hosted by Jennifer Hsieh, VP of Insight, Strategy and Innovation, Marriott International and Jason Nuell, VP of Brand Operations Design and Development, Marriott International and Lee Powney, Founder and CEO, Human Innovation.
